Hawzah News Agency- Muhammad ibn al-Hassan ibn Ahmad ibn al-Walid narrated that Muhammad ibn al-Hassan al-Saffar narrated from Al-Abbas ibn Ma’ruf, from Abi Himmam - Isma’il ibn Himmam, from Muhammad ibn Sa’idibn Qazvan, from Isma’il ibn Muslim al-Sakoony, from Imam Sadiq(pbuh), from his father (pbuh) that the Holy Prophet (pbuh) said:
فوق كل بر بر حتى يقتل الرجل في سبيل الله عز وجل فإذا قتل في سبيل الله فليس فوقه بر. وفوق كل عقوق عقوق حتى يقتل الرجل أحد والديه.فإذا قتل أحدهما فليس فوقه عقوق
Above every good deed there is a greater good, until a man is killed in the way of Allah(swt)—then there is no good higher than that.
And above every act of disobedience there is a greater disobedience, until a man kills one of his parents—then there is no sin worse than that.
